There is
a well established ornamental
groundcover consisting of (vinca and
ivy) and many very old English
boxwoods. The cedars are very old
and near the end of their life span.
One priority is to preserve young
cedars to replace the older ones.
The cemetery is enclosed by an iron
fence with a concrete base. The
fence is in good shape and combined
with the monuments represent very
distinctive historical architectural
features. The cemetery includes
several box type tombs and
substantial monuments. The grave
arrangement fit the traditional east
- west burial pattern of the period.
The cemetery also possesses examples
of familial cluster burials. |

Winter

- Several
Trees had to be removed. One threatened the
bank parking lot and the other leaned toward
Danville road.
- Thrasher
Tree Service was most helpful. They are
affordable and do an excellent job.
